Does anyone know of a cheap hotel or b&b in London near Leicester Square???
I’m from London and my Husband is a London Black Taxi driver so between us, we know about hotels in London. Firstly, I don’t know where you’re traveling from but you will find it hard to find a cheap hotel or B&B anywhere in London – everything is automatically more expensive because it’s London. Also, anywhere near Leicester Square is geared up for the traveler so naturally, it’s more expensive. You might find a hostel for that sort of money but not in peak season and it might not be exactly the type of place you would want to stay. There is a Travelodge which is classed as Covent Garden (a few minutes walk away) which seems to be about £100.00 per person per night currently but they do sometimes offer deals and maybe as a group you would get a discount. If I was you, I would consider staying somewhere not so near to Leicester Sqaure as you’ll probably get a nicer hotel for your money and public transport in London is really easy to use and brilliant for someone visiting.
