Does anyone know if there is a way to set a sid to default its rule based optimizer to FIRST_ROWS?
alter session set optimizer_goal = first_rows; I’ve looked at the OPTIMIZER_MODE initialization parameter, but it only allows you to choose RULE or COST, not modify the goal of the cost based optimizer.
