Does anyone know if the historical monthly average temps at The Weather Channel are really from Silver City?

at weatherunderground for Silver City …current temps are for Silver City and forecast too …but for some reason “Almanac & History” data is actually for KDMN (Deming,NM airport) instead of KSVC (Silver City Whiskey Creek airport) …Deming is approx 1,500′ lower than Silver City …and on average about 5 degrees hotter in summer (and 5 degrees milder in winter) …mostly daytime “high’s” ….nightime lows are only 3 or 4 degrees different…
