But pine tar soap isn’t exactly full of lotions and chemicals and scents, is it? Its one of those products that has slowly fallen out of style and is now only available at places like fresh markets, organic stores, and online stores that sell those retro products like bluing, straight iodine and Simple Green. I looked through Google scholar for any info, but nothing came up for tests or safety hazards of Pine Tar Soap… but on the normal google.com side of things I saw many companies that are selling it. I used it as a kid, but I think the bars my grandma gave me to use (as soap and shampoo) were bars that were probably 30 years old at the time even 15 or 20 years ago.
