Does anyone know if Gustave, the giant Nile crocodile, and star of the film primeval, was ever caught?
He hasn’t been caught. According to the National Geographic website, he killed someone last spring. There is also a photo of him on the website, taken in August, 2007. “Last spring, for example, Faye received regular reports from the village of Ruziba, just south of Bujumbura, Burundi’s capital. At least one fatal attack there could be credibly pinned on Gustave, who apart from his sheer size bears distinctive bullet scars: one on his head, three on his right side.” Here is the link: http://www.nationalgeographic.com/advent… Addition:- Just to clarify, when I mentioned that he’d killed someone last spring, I didn’t mean that was the only person he’d killed. It’s just the most recent one that’s known about. You’re right that he’s believed to have killed a lot of other people.
