Yes it can be associated with taking some drugs as well as with poor oral hygeine associated with drug use. The best remedy (aside from not doing the drugs) is to brush your teeth and tongue regularly and to use a tongue scraper- they can be bought in the toothbrush aisle. There are also special mouthwashes you can use to prevent, eliminate, or reduce this problem.
