Yes it does. A UK dual band phone would work in Australia and Malaysia. It’s only the US that have different frequencies to the rest of the world (in theory you could use a UK dual band phone in the US as long as it was set to the right frequency, ie. one UK band and one US band – but I won’t bore you with all that).
