Does anyone know how to write their own affidavit to get married abroad?
I think you need M10 forms you can get these from your town hall Theyre free and you should be able to send them to whoever is marrying your son in Cyprus EDIT You dont need a lawyer for M10 forms. Id give you a site where i downloaded mine from but i was married in Gretna so they may be different because if you are getting married elsewhere in the uk you need to live there for four weeks but on my M10 forms they ruled this out because Gretna is the only place you dont need to live for four weeks I also SHOULD add that the M10 forms need to be sent preferably 2 months before the wedding BUT NO LATER THAN 15 DAYS.
