Does anyone know how to make the orange ginger salad dressing they give you in sushi/hibachi restaurants?
Orange Ginger Dressing 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar – unseasoned 2 medium garlic cloves 1 tablespoon diced fresh ginger 1 tablespoon sesame oil 2 teaspoons soy sauce or to taste 2 teaspoons orange juice concentrate 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes or to taste 3/4 cup vegetable or peanut oil Place all ingredients, except the vegetable or peanut oil, in a blender. Blend for a few seconds. While the motor is running, slowly add the oil in a small stream until mixture is emulsified. Makes about 1 1/2 cups dressing. Weight watchers: Ginger Orange Dressing 1/4 cup fresh orange juice 4 teaspoon canola oil 1 tablespoon minced scallions 1 teaspoon minced peeled fresh ginger 1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste In a small bowl, whisk orange juice, oil, scallions, ginger, orange zest, garlic, salt and pepper until well blended.
