Does anyone know how to make an iced latte without an expresso machine?
A latte is basically just some form of coffee and milk, though espresso is indeed traditional. If you don’t have an espresso machine, any strong dark roasted coffee will do in a pinch. If possible, make the coffee in a Moka Pot and you will get something nearly as strong as espresso, which will work great for the latte. If all you have to work with is an electric drip pot, add an extra scoop of ground coffee to the basket before brewing. Since you want an iced drink, I suggest you brew up some coffee and freeze some if it as iced cubes. As soon as the cubes are frozen, transfer them into an airtight ziplock bag and squeeze all the air out of it before storing them in the freezer. If you leave the coffee ice cubes in the tray, it will become stale, freezer burned and unpleasant tasting. When you make your iced latte, brew the coffee using whatever method you have available, and then immediately chill it as fast as possible.
