I am 29 weeks pregnant with bub #2 and I had a small amount of hip pain with my first pregnancy but this one is driving me crazy. I have had it since about 18 weeks and its getting worse by the day. I’ve tried heat packs (but never seem to get the right spot) I’ve tried lying with pillows between my legs when i sleep. Getting up in the morning is the worst. Somedays i feel like i dont want to move because any slight movements in my legs causes pain. Other days it aches when i’m just lying there. Its mainly in my right side but sometiimes in both. Having a 2 year old doesn’t help because I’m constantly getting up and do things with her. Can anyone think of anything else that I can try??? Try sleeping on your side with both legs bent and a pillow between the knees supporting the whole length of your leg. A pillow under your bump is also needed to stop you rolling forward. Putting an extra layer of padding, such as a sleeping bag or quilt, under your bottom sheet can also improve matters.
