Does anyone know how to delete a lycos email account?
They don’t have a way to delete the account. The only thing you can do is not use it for 30 days and they remove it. Currently, we do not offer the ability to delete accounts associated with the Lycos Network. Please understand that the security of your account is not at risk, and email accounts are self-deleted after thirty days of inactivity. If you choose to use this account in the future, simply log in and your account will begin receiving mail again. Please note that if you are a premium member, you will need to downgrade your service. If you do not, then you will be autobilled. To downgrade your account, click on the OPTIONS button, located on the right side of your Lycos Mail Toolbar. Next, click on Membership Status. Scroll down to the bottom of that page and click on DOWNGRADE. This will offer you the option to continue on a LYCOS MAIL FREE account. https://help.lycos.com/kb_article.php?
