I plan on purchasing a 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit 2.5 this upcoming Saturday, I would like to upgrade the standard H7 bulbs to Blue H7’s however i haven’t had a look under the hood, does the whole bumper need to be removed to access the lights or is it a easy job? A: With hood up trace wire harness to the light,unplug,their are 2 little clips on this , un- plug Bulb assembly will disconnect with a half turn or so.This may be tight because of the rubber seal.It is good to wear cotton gloves.If you touch to new bulb with you fingers the oil will create a hot spot on the new bulb causing it to burn out faster. follow in reverse to install the new bulb.Make sure to lights has been off for a while.They get very hot.
