Does anyone know how good the University of Iowa is for pre-med students?
Any undergraduate university that has the pre-med required courses, access to local hospitals for volunteering/shadowing, and opportunities for research and campus/community involvement, will be more than okay for any aspiring pre-meds. Given that Carver is a great medical school is an added bonus. I go to medical school in a neighboring state and have a good friend in my class who went to Iowa, and he’s got a lot of passion for his alma mater.
