Does anyone know how funeral directors dress and prepare the dead body?
Hi there, We dress people by cutting the clothes up the back, but not always, depending on their size we may be able to dress them without cutting the clothes. We use a hydraulic lift that cranks them up in the air so we can put them in their caskets, or if they are really small we just pick them up with our arms. We sometimes have to put plastic garments on people of there is any leakage or fluids, so you may have felt plastic garments on your mom. Hope this helps, take care!
