Firstly, to the people that have said the police can arrest you for trespass: trespass is not in itself a crime in England, so you can’t be arrested for that. Or at least if you are the police will have to make up some other excuse. Occupying the factory is also not a crime. There’s been some media coverage about the protester who was arrested for throwing food to the Vestas factory, but I can’t see anything that says how the police claimed to justify making that arrest. I don’t think they do have grounds for arrest, but without knowing the full circumstances and the interpretation a judge will put on them you can never be sure. Perhaps the best thing would be to take food to the protest as you want to, then ask around once you get there and try to get some opinions from people who seem to know what they’re talking about as to whether you could be arrested or successfully prosecuted for delivering it.
