Does anyone know anything about the Assassination of Julius Caesar?
As others have said, it is better on Wikipedia. However, two points: 1. Contrary to popular belief, he was not killed in the Senate House. By the time of his death the Senate House had been burned down and was being rebuilt. He was stabbed in the temporary Senate House, which I think was some theatre – don’t quote me which building it was though. 2. Mark Antony tried to warn Caesar before he was killed, as he had learned on the plot. He gave Caesar a letter about the plot, which Caesar held whilst walking to the temporary Senate House and whilst signing the false contract (which I am sure you know about). He never actually read the letter – he was planning on doing so after the meeting. A bit ironic really.
