I have a 12-year-old Mantis that is still working after years of hard use. We have heavy clay soil. The Mantis will dig holes, or cultivate, or anything else I want it to do. My son borrowed it to dig out an old oil tank that had been in the ground for 30 years. It really is an astonishing little machine. (By the way, I’m a 64-year-old female-just to let you know it is really easy to handle.
