All the Brown Mackie s are for-profit proprietary schools. I believe they are all accredited in the states where they exist, and all are certified by some regional accrediting group. You ask “Is it a good school?” That is a very difficult question – they train people for entry-level positions, and I bet their placement offices can give you a percentage of students who are working in their chosen field within 6 months after graduation. It is probably over 60%, but you have to ask – also, the Indiana state agency that licenses these schools should have that information available – probably online. Can you use Brown Mackie educational credits to transfer to a 4 year college? Probably not. You should consider whether or not you can get an equal or better education at a community college at a much lesser cost – and then compare the options.
