Does anyone know anything about ACA (American Canine Association) registration for dogs?
It’s a worthless registry. ACA registration simply says “Yep, it’s a dog.” Which is not even always true … I’ve heard of people registering hamsters and other (obviously non-canine) animals with ACA. They don’t verify anything. There’s no comparison to AKC. AKC verifies bloodlines and pedigree going back at least 3 generations, and keeps statistical data on dog breeds.
