Does anyone know any good teen acting camps?
YES! I went to one a few summers back. It is for high school students between their junior and senior year. It is through Northwestern University (just outside of Chicago, IL). If you are serious about acting, this program is definitely for you. It is five weeks in the summer so check into it soon if you’re interested. It is a bit pricey, but it was worth every penny for me. A completely life-changing experience, and I learned so much. It is through National High School Institute (NHSI) and it has famous alumni like America Fererra and David Schwimmer. It’s very well-respected… also known at the ‘Cherubs’ program. There is also a two week musical theatre extension if you’re interested. You’re busy from 8am-10pm daily taking classes such as acting, text analysis and voice and movement. You also have elective choices like improv, auditioning, Shakespeare and so on. At night you work on a show that you’ll perform at the end of the five weeks. Their web page is
