Does anyone know any good metaphors/similes/descriptions etc. about vampires?
I know a lot about Vampyres, enough to know there are three distinctive types of them. But I can’t think of anything you are asking for which would apply to all of them. They aren’t similar enough to each other to be similar to anything else. What all three have in common is that you can destroy them by cutting them up, then burning the remains to ash and spreading those remains separately throughout. Or buy stabbing them through the heart with a piece of wood from an oak tree. Silver will poison them but not destroy them. Also, all three are shape-shifters to some extent. And they need blood to exist.
