Does anyone know any FREE beat makers?
First off, why does it matter if it “looks like a toddler would be using” it? It doesn’t matter what the software looks like. It depends on its underlying power and capabilities. A lot of people look down on FL Studio because of its name/user interface. They’re amazed by my music and my practically professional quality … then they’re more amazed when they find out it was produced, mixed, and mastered entirely in FL Studio. 😉 Second, you’re NOT going to find a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) for free that isn’t just a load of crap. Free = no good in 99.8% of cases. =D If your parents refuse to use their credit card online you should take them to a music store and buy the software there. If you don’t have any music stores nearby that they’re willing to travel to then simply tell them that if they order online from a perfectly legitimate web site that the chance of their information being compromised is as likely as MySpace ever being worth a damn. LoL. FL Studio was a great investment
