Does anyone know any footwork or drills for Volleyball?
We worked on quick footwork like jumping drills. For example we would go down to our track and and each stand next to a line and then do different jumping exercises like jumping on one foot over and back, side to side etc. Stretch bands are good to work arm muscles for hitters. Ab exercises are good to strengthen core muscles esp for hitters. Definitely work on leg strength. Holding the ready position is always a good exercise…it starts to burn but it trains the muscles to go in that position. Block jumps against a wall for a minute help with vertical jumps.
