Does anyone know any bands similar to Cannibal Corpse (deathmetal) and the Creepshow (psychobilly)?
A lot of non-mainstream music sucks, which is why it won’t go into the mainstream. These are good examples of “lesser known” artists / albums which are quite good. (a few aren’t underground, a few also aren’t metal this is a canned list) Darkthrone – album “A blaze in the northern sky” recommended. They’re a black/death metal frrom Norway. Regurgitate – Sick vocals, gross lyrics. Content similar to Cannibal Corpse Macobre – album “Dahmer” – funny thrash metal album which is literally a biography of Jeffrey Dahmer Deicide – (pre-2000 albums) Satanic heavy metal band whose message is clear, not cheesy, not so reliant on screams. Merzbow – 1930 (industrial noise album) Agoraphobic Nosebleed – Honky Reduction (awesome grindcore band. most grindcore gets old fast) Meatsh-ts – Violence against feminist c-nts (offensive. lots of music can be, but these guys mix in clips from old movies into their music constantly.)
