Does anyone know an easy Cheese Cake Recipe?
This recipe makes Cheesecake Tarts which I prefer over a normal-sized cheesecake because you can freeze them and pull out some when you have either unexpected company or just have a craving for cheesecake. CHEESECAKE TARTS 2″ foil cups (21) (like foil cupcake wrappers) 2 (8 oz) pkgs cream cheese 2 eggs 3/4 c white sugar 1 T lemon juice 1 tsp vanilla 1 box Keeblers Vanilla Wafers 1 (20 oz) can cherry pie filling. Mix all ingredients except the vanilla wafers and pie filling in a bowl. Beat 5 minutes. Arrange cups on a cookie sheet or in a muffin pan. Put one Vanilla Wafer in the bottom of each foil cup. Fill 3/4 full with the cream cheese batter. Bake in preheated 375ยบ oven for 15 minutes. Cool completely. Put cherry pie filling on top just before serving (I always use 3 cherries and some of the sauce). You can use other fillings on top if you wish. But these freeze wonderfully. I made them for a Bake Sale at a military base and they were the first to go and went like hotcakes.
