does anyone know about this no recess/ breaks in schools in miami now?”
I am shocked to hear this. In Virginia the student does not have to raise their hand for permission to go to the bathroom. They are supposed to get up and walk out of the room and go to the bathroom and then come back to class. If students get up in groups to do this, I am sure the teacher would say something. I cannot imagine anyone would have voted for no breaks or recess in the schools. I feel each student needs some time away from their studies for a few minutes at least. They need a few minutes to get away from the class room and just chat or think. I feel bad for the children as well as the teachers in Miami. This means the teachers do not get a break either if the students do not.
