Does anyone know about the bottled water brand called “Perfect”?
I had not heard of this water until this question was asked, so I decided to do some research. My conclusion is that this water is not really much different than Dasani water, where the water is first purified, and then additional dissolved minerals are added back to the water. The Web site uses the trappings of science and technology but does not actually back those claims up. The Perfect Water Web site talks about a proprietary formula called “MBO” but doesn’t give much detail on what MBO is other than that it includes some minerals. One of their main claims is the water is alkaline, or basic. The Web site is also contradictory here. On the one hand, it claims that the water is alkaline, at a PH between 8 and 9. But then it says in the next sentence that if you were to test the water using a PH meter, it would come out to be 7+. 7 is neutral PH.
