Does anyone know about a good substitute for Zelnorm?

I tried Zelnorm originally and it just made my symptoms worse! My doctor put me on Pamelor and my pharmacist gave me the generic which is Nortriptylin(e). I actually can’t remember if there is an e on the end or not. Anyway, it has worked pretty well for me. I’m not in pain every single day. Unfortunately, this medicine is constipating and that was my problem to begin with, so they also prescribed Miralax for me which has just become an over the counter medicine. I take the generic of it though as a prescription still. It’s called Glycolax. I feel much better these days, although I do still have the occassional day where my stomach is killing me, but 1-2 days a month is a whole lot less than every single day. You also have to pay attention to which foods might set you off. I’m sure you already know that though. Good Luck!!
