Does anyone know a good place to get eloped in Kansas?
I’m not sure where in Kansas you live but if you are close to south east Kansas, you can just go down to Miami, Ok. They have a “Las Vegas” style wedding chapel there. I think we are going to elope there as well. The whole thing takes about an hour, you go get your marriage license at the courthouse then walk across the street to the chapel, the minister says the vows and off you go! I heard that there are a couple of them in Eureka Springs, AR but I haven’t found any by googling it. Miami is about 30 minutes from the Kansas border, sort of by Tulsa. So unless you live in Western Kansas, its really not too far. There is a nice lake nearby called Grand Lake, since you are driving, you could make a little honeymoon there.
