take your pick, this lot could learn a lot from them, but the one that sticks in my mind is the Pitts, ( conservative party ) elder and younger, they had their own family and friends stand in opposing county’s and all supported the Pitts so that when polling day came they all would ship in prisoners to vote for them on the promise of an early release, plus lunatics where coerced to vote for the Pitt party as well and this went on for decades, they even employed thugs to threaten people to vote for them as well, thankfully when Pitt the younger died in office their regime was ended and a new party made up of workers and abolitionists came to power they were called the peoples Labour and anti slave party later shortened to the labour party after the slave trade was outlawed, and they stopped the prisoner release promises and the lunatics being herded to vote thus paving the way for modern government, this is just one of many cases of corruption in the government at the time but each and
