Does anyone have tips in starting up a band?
You need some material first. Write songs and keep ALL of them saved in a folder or somewhere safe. You never know when but you’ll look back on em and might edit them to become great or use it as motivation. Gutiar Center has a lot of used gear and so do Pawn Shop. If you have a low budget you should start buying used equipment but that are good. It won’t be cheap though. It’s always going to be expensive starting a band. But you definetly need a decent PA system for sound. Try to have practice at one consitent place. Try not to meet up at different places every practice. My band practicies at one of the members house all the time b/c he has a lot of space there and most of the stuff like drums, PA, and guitars are his. This helps make things less complicated. Practice a lot. Remember that practice makes perfect so yah, just do that. Hope this helps you and I hope to hear you guys someday or even tour with you sometime lol.
