I have been looking for a decent car top carrier and the good ones all run in the range of $400-$500. I’ve mainly been looking at Thule and Yakami since they seem to be dominent carriers. Packasport seems to be on the higher end ($500-$600), but I don’t need something that nice. Buick offers one as an optional accessory but it’s cheap (price). From GM Direct it’s around $230. Knowign that you usually get what you pay for, and that Genuine Gm Parts are usually inflated in price to start with, I’m a little leary about ordering it site-unseen.
