Does anyone have the code to unlock a Sylvania DVD dvc850c DVD/VCR combination?
Region Codes don’t work that way. There is no “code” to unlock a DVD Player. The codes are burned onto the DVD. The DVD Player has an electronic circuit that only accepts DVD’s from a certain region. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD_region_codes If you want to play DVD’s that are from different countries, having different region codes on them, then you need to get a region free DVD player. Do a search on Google for “region free DVD player” and you should have quite a few choices come up. I ran into this problem a couple of years ago when I bought some DVD’s from England. I had to buy a region free DVD player to watch them. There was no way to make my region #1 (US) DVD player work for viewing them.
