Does anyone have some good recipes for salmon?
Since salmon has some bolder flavors, it stands up well to stronger seasonings. In fact, it often needs to be balanced by other flavors. I served this on Salmon at a big party. Along with this, I prepared several other salmon dishes… This one was by far the most popular. I did it on the grill, but will do well in the oven too. 4 cloves garlic 1 T white wine 1 T honey 1/3 C Balsamic Vinegar 4 T Dijon or whole grain mustard 3 T maple syrup salt and pepper to taste In a sauce pan coated with non stick spray, or Olive oil, sweat garlic until soft, add other ingredients, and reduce over medium heat until sauce coats the back of a spoon. Baste salmon, chicken, etc with sauce while cooking either on a grill, or in the oven. Don’t overcook the fish. It should be just to the point of starting to flake. If you are cooking salmon fillet with skin on, put it skin down in your oven, and baste it with this sauce. Cook uncovered in an oven at 350F (160C) do not over cook Have fun baby!
