Scientific evidence? Nope; scientific evidence would require reproducible observations of the event. Thus, strictly speaking, no, no reliable source has ever observed an abduction. However, that being said, it should be realized that there may be secondary scientific observations that might support the hypothesis that alien abductions occur. For example, crop circles; many individuals claim that these are evidence of an alien presence, at least, on earth. Sometimes science can verify that this secondary evidence exists (odd marks on individuals claiming to be abductees, cattle mutilations, etc) though the conclusion drawn from such evidence is always inconclusive; each verifiable piece of evidence could point to extra-terrestrials, but each also has a much more probable and mundane explanation (self mutilation, accidents, pranksters, natural phenomenon, etc). Thus, for your paper you would do well to acknowledge a few specifics but to then discuss why those specifics do not necessarily
