Does anyone have problems using BT Total Broadband browser with Vista?

I don’t have a problem with the browser in Vista using Internet Explorer or Firefox. I do however have a problem with the BT service. Whilst I am aware I am never going to get the max speed, I have been told by an engineer that the BT line is capable of giving me 1.6 mpbs. I have had 1.3 mbps for over 1 month which I would be more than happy with BUT for the last 18 months the line has been persistently dropping. When it re-connects I get a speed of 160 kbps. After about 1 dozen phone calls over the last couple of weeks I have decided to get rid of BT as a service provider and have told them to cancel their line to the house too. b.t.w. I use the IP address 192.168.1.254 to access the browser (if thats the question you were asking LOL.

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
