We recieved a child carrier for our bikes, but we don’t have any instructions. I looked online but found nothing. Thank you. Yes. DON’T. In my opinion, the Bell Child Carrier is a horribly designed $30.00 unit that will put both you and your child at risk. There is no way to secure the carrier to the bicycle so there is a certainty that it will not move. This is very important since as you ride and the child moves the seat will sway making it difficult to keep the bike upright. It is apparently test and approved to minimum standards, but minimum standards is not what I would want to keep my child safe. Forget that seat and purchase a good one. The Rhode Gear Ultimate costs about $130. This cost is FAR less than the expense of a single hospital visit. What would you do if your child got hurt? I personally don’t want to think of it! Hopefully your bike is set up with proper mounts on the frame so you don’t need to use clamps. If it doesn’t have them I would reconsider placing a child car
