Does anyone have good tips on studying and taking notes?
Here’s the method that worked for me. Take good notes. That means write down all the main points and any less important points that you find interesting. If the teacher refers to another material or a book page during class, make a note so that you can look at it again later when you’re studying. If you miss a day or think that you wrote bad notes, ask someone else if you can photocopy theirs. Don’t make the mistake that I did and think that you’re “too good” to need someone else’s notes. Once you swallow your pride and ask, you’ll find, like I did, that it pays off big time. The way I took notes (that worked for me) was every time it seemed like the teacher was making a big point, I wrote that down at the top, and then listed everything else he/she said about that point as one- or two-line bullet points beneath it.
