Does anyone have experience with Direct Buy, wholesale warehouse?
They got caught up in the high pressure sales presentation but after going home and reading the fine print, they immediately called their credit card company to cancel and wrote a letter to the company cancelling the contract. There are all kinds of fees on top of the hefty $5,000 membership fee. Also, you have to pick up your own furniture or whatever you buy. They don’t accept returns. You’re stuck with whatever you buy. They will have a decoy couple dressed in worn clothes who will join while you sit there thinking if those two can do it, it must be a good deal. They will also tell you to join now or forever hold your peace. In other words, you won’t get another chance to be a member. If it’s true they’re doing you a favor.
