Does anyone have experience with Cornerstone Adoptions in Tallahassee FL?
The odds of finding someone on this website to answer this question will be slim. When I was adopting, I did a LOT of research on agencies. Here are my suggestions: Check with the Attorney General’s office in your state and in the state that the agency is located in to see how many and the nature of complaints that have been lodged against the agency. Most agencies will have at least one complaint as adoptions can be complicated and people get disappointed. Is the agency considered in “good standing” with the AG’s office? Ask for references from the agency. Okay, obviously they aren’t going to give you the name of someone who was unhappy, but this will give you the opportunity to speak with someone who used their services. Find out what they liked about the agency. Ask if they were adopting again, would they use the same agency or not and ask why. This can be a very telling response.
