Does anyone have experience using FLIR or other thermal imaging cameras for building inspections?
I have used thermal imaging in industrial environments for both electrical surveys and thermal insulation auditing. The technology is very useful, but expensive. You can rent the equipment as well as outsource the audit. Since the results are more qualitative than quantitative, I would suggest the latter unless you are planning to do many facilities or if you have a large facility and want to do annual/semi-annual audits. This way you get the opinion as well as the technology.
