Does anyone have experience of the Jarvis Walker Sovereign 5000 fixed spool reel?
my advice is to avoid the Jarvis Walker fixed spool reels the front drag that you unscrew can fail because they are made of brass and not stainless steel the thread will breakaway on the nut and won’t screw down afterwards, i found out by buying two Jarvis Walker rovex’s which one has had this problem after using 2nd time. i have now replaced them with the shakespeare salt surf fixed spool reel and the front drag has the stainless steel nut also they are about the same price bought from mullarkeys online.
