does anyone have experience growing it indoors from seed?
The main reason I’ve never tried it indoors is because it’s a fairly large plant, too large to sit on a windowsill really. Researching this question online, I’ve found two other problems — and a possible solution. One problem is that cilantro apparently doesn’t do well in low light, which is definitely a problem during the winter months. I’ve also learned that cilantro doesn’t tolerate repeated harvests very well. A possible solution is to try another herb that tastes very similar — it turns out that vietnamese coriander grows well indoors. And unlike cilantro, it regrows after cutting.
