Does anyone have carpel tunnel syndrome?
Yes, I have it. There are a lot of things that can cause finger/wrist pain. You don’t give any details of what kinds of symptoms you are experiencing, so it is hard to say what is causing it. With Carpal Tunnel, most people experience tingling and numbness in the fingers and wrist. For most people, this occurs in the hand, thumb, index, and middle finger. The ring and pinky are either not affected or less severely affected. You may also feel sensations of pressure or tightness. Sometimes, there may stabbing pain. Generally, carpal tunnel would not cause you to have trouble bending your fingers. But I have read that some people feel like their fingers are swollen (this doesn’t happen to me, but it is possible.) I don’t think you would have pain when bending your fingers — that kind of pain would indicate that there are problems with the joints in your fingers, not the nerve in your wrist, which is what causes carpal tunnel.
