Does anyone have any tips on how to catch a corn snake that got loose in my house?
Take a bucket/box and hang a warm heating lamp over it. Just use the one that should be on top of your snake’s cage. Anyways, hang the lamp over the bucket/box and put a not to steep, climbable ramp up to it. The snake will want to bask in it so it will go to the bucket/box and eventually find the ramp. He will go up the ramp and fall in the bucket/box. He will probably want to get out so make sure it’s higher than he can reach. The container should be 5in. over his length. Put some padding at the bottom so he doesn’t hurt himself when he goes in. If it’s to high he will get hurt. Because he finished molting he probably won’t want to eat for a few days but if you’re still searching put the food you’re feeding him, which is probably pinkies, at the bottom of the box. If the food is dead make sure to throw it out at the end of the day if it isn’t eaten or it will rot. Don’t use live food. You shoudn’t be anyway becuase a young corn snake would surely be killed by it. Also make sure the l
