Use a clear base coat before you apply any colored nail polish. You may also want to let your nails dry and recooperate before you repaint them. Remove your nail polish and try soaking your hands in warm soapy water. (Using a moisturizing body wash like Dove will really help) This will help get rid of any bacteria and lift stains under the nail. Let them breathe for a day or two, as long as you can stand without having your nails done. Then when you do your nails, apply the base coat to protect your nails, and in your case, try putting on two layers of it. If this still doesn’t help, I would go to a salon and see if they have any professional grade product that will help.

You will need a base coat that keeps the color from staining your nails. I’ve never used a nail polish that stained my nails, but instead of buying new products, try a base coat formulated to stop the staining of your nails. Best of luck, doll.

Try an acetone nail polish remover – it’s pretty strong so it may help remove stains. I don’t think they sell them at regular drug stores but I buy it at Sally Beauty Supply.
