Does anyone have any tips for potty training a 3 year old?”
My twin girls and my son both were potty trained with a rewards poster. They don’t like candy so the suggestion of an M&M or jelly bean didn’t work for us. We went to the store and made a big production of picking out the color of the poster board. I drew a month calander on it with big blocks for the days so that there would be plenty of room for stickers. On the top was the header of Audrey’s Potty Chart in big letters. At the store, they would pick out two kinds of stickers – a very small one and a bigger, really fun sticker. My son, who was into Toy Story at the time got little smiley face stickers – you know the ones, they come fifty to a page or so – and Buzz Lightyear stickers. I hung the poster in our downstairs bathroom because we were downstairs most days to potty train. Each time they would go number one, they got to put a small sticker on the daily chart.
