Does anyone have any suggestons on what songs to put on my ipod?
If you like complicated rock songs in the vein of ELO, Queen and the Beatles with a modern twist, look at “Bryan Scary and the Shredding Tears” they have two albums, one is coming out soon. If you like unique sounding hip-hop with intellectual lyrics and minimal (basically no) profanity, check out “Coolbone”, the album is called Brass-hop, it’s from New Orleans and it’s an infusion of jazz, hip-hop and funky soul. If you like power-pop (like rock, but generally major tones and fast beats), the band “Superdrag” really has no peers, they are amazing. “Ben Harper”, “Atmosphere”, “The Shins”, and “Eric Clapton” are some of the best I can think of that I never tire of. But you should definitely check out Bryan Scary, they have a new album coming out called Flight of the Knife that has some of the most incredible musicianship I’ve ever heard.
