Lots of your answerers are correct with the signs of an underactive thyroid problem. I think some of the answers will possibly get you worried, but there is ‘light at the end of the tunnel’ as this condition can be treated with Thyroxine tablets. Your GP will run some blood tests to check your levels and prescribe accordingly. You may start with a high dose and have it reduced gradually, dependant upon the initial % that your Thyroid is underactive. Mine was 50% down and I was started on a high dose but now have levelled out to 100mg per day. My GP says to treat ‘how you feel’ not so much what the blood tests show, within reason. Once you get to the right dosage, you will know and will feel much better, but will have to take the Thyroxine for life. I have been treated for this condition for 15 years, and do not find it a problem now that I am on a suitable dose.
